Real Estate Advertising Compliance Resources
RE/MAX Town & Country agents are responsible for ensuring their advertising complies with the requirements of the state or states in which they are licensed, as well as applicable RE/MAX brand standards and company policies.
Use the state-specific resources below to review current advertising requirements and quick-reference guidance for Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina.
State Advertising Resources

Regulations — Links to official state-specific advertising rules, regulations, or regulatory guidance.
Advertising Cheatsheet — A simplified reference guide outlining common advertising requirements for agents licensed in that state. Cheatsheets are intended as a quick reference and do not replace official regulations.
Advertising Approval
Before publishing advertising or marketing materials that require company approval, submit them through the RMTC Advertising Approval Form or follow the current company advertising approval process.
Agents may also use approved marketing resources available through the RE/MAX Town & Country Marketing Center and RE/MAX brand resources available through MAX/Center.

Important
Agents licensed in multiple states should review the advertising requirements for each state in which they conduct business. When state regulations, RE/MAX brand standards, and company policies differ, agents are responsible for following all requirements applicable to their advertising.
